Lamborghini last sold an SUV in 1993 but that is all about to change. A production version of the Lamborghini SUV is set to arrive in 2015 and will cost about $200,000.

Lamborghini reportedly will unveil a new ultra-luxury utility vehicle, to be called MLC, at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show in April. A three-door SUV concept will be revealed in Beijing that shares its underpinnings with the Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne, as well as a new Bentley SUV that’s due in 2014.
The publication said the Lambo SUV is “almost certainly bound for production in 2015,” with a projected price of around $200,000.Italy’s Quattroroute published a sketch of what it said was the new Lamborghini SUV. The SUV in the sketch below does look really cool!
If approved for production, the Lambo SUV would likely be built on VW’s modular MLB architecture, which will underpin the next-generation Cayenne, Q7 and Touareg, as well as the new Bentley SUV.
Lamborghini last offered an SUV, the boxy, quasi-military LM002, in extremely limited numbers from 1986-’93. Resembling a four-door pickup and dubbed the “Rambo Lambo,” the extreme off-roader featured aluminum body panels on a tubular-steel frame and was powered by a massive 7.2-liter V12 from the Countach.
